Events Without Discrimination
WECo is the only coalition in the region of wedding and events vendors whose purpose is to advance the diversity, equity, and inclusion standards of the wedding and events industry. We know too well that special moments for those who are LGBTQ+ are often overshadowed by implicit bias or out right discrimination from wedding or event industry vendors. WECo's goal is to connect customers with vendors who believe in the vision of events without discrimination.
A Membership and More
Every Wedding and Events Coalition member receives a Mid-America LGBT Chamber of of Commerce membership, but on top of all of those benefits WECo members and their employees receive industry leading educational opportunities and inspirational networking opportunities to ensure they are prepared to better help LGBTQ+ people realize the weddings events of their dreams. In addition, we host Celebrate, a Wedding Show for All, publish a yearly wedding and events edition of our chamber's magazine, Business Pride, and conduct inspirational photo shoots with LGBTQ+ models and couples.
