Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and access to capital can make all the difference. The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant offers $10,000 in funding to help businesses invest in growth, digital tools, and long-term success.
Through a partnership between Verizon and LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation), small businesses across the country have the opportunity to apply for funding while gaining valuable skills through the Digital Ready platform.

How it Works
Getting started is simple:
1. Create your free Digital Ready account
Sign up on the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform.
2. Complete two learning activities
Finish any combination of two courses, virtual events, or eligible in-person events in 2026.
3. Unlock and submit your application
Once completed, your grant application becomes available.
4. Stay eligible all year
Submit once and remain in consideration for monthly awards through December 2026.
Grant Details
Award Amount: $10,000
Recipients: 10 businesses selected each month
Application Period: Rolling, June through December 2026
Final Notifications: By January 12, 2027
Repayment: Not required
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, your business must:
- Be a for-profit business located in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Be owned by an individual age 18 or older
- Complete at least two Digital Ready courses or events in 2026
- Be able to provide verification documentation if selected (W-9, EIN, banking details, etc.)
- Submit only one application per business
Please note: Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Verizon or LISC are not eligible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to reapply if I applied in the past?
Yes. If you applied before April 15, 2026, you must submit a new application for this grant cycle.
How will I know if I’ve been selected?
LISC will contact finalists via email. Be sure to monitor your inbox, including spam or junk folders.
Is the application available in Spanish?
Yes. Once unlocked, you can complete the application in Spanish.
What if I have technical issues?
Try using Google Chrome, clearing your cache, or accessing the platform in Incognito mode. If issues persist, contact support through the Digital Ready platform.
Do I have to repay the grant?
No. However, recipients are responsible for any applicable taxes, and a 1099 form will be issued.
