Building Community Together: The Chamber Joins Habitat KC’s Pride Build

The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce team recently joined Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City’s Pride Build, an initiative that brings people together to support safe, stable, and affordable housing for LGBTQ+ community members.

Our volunteer group brought together Chamber employees and members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including Prosperity Advisors, No Divide KC, McCownGordon Construction, LeaderOne Financial-iLoveKC Team, and U.S Venture | U.S. AutoForce. Together, we rolled up our sleeves, learned new skills, and connected outside our usual work environments while contributing to an important cause.

A special thank-you to Habitat KC for the opportunity to serve and Scratch Office Catering for providing lunch for our volunteers!
