Tell us a little about your business?
Brain Freeze was invented shortly after Covid as a way to bring people together in a time where the world was separated by circumstances at the time by bringing laughter, good vibes, and mental reprieve. Brain Freeze is a mobile beverage service that specializes in all things frozen, creating tropical mocktails and cocktails for your special occasion. We cater to all sizes and types of events from as small as 20 people all the way up to 5,000 people. We are fully licensed and insured in the state of KS and MO and can do indoor events with our bar tables or outdoor events with our mobile trailer.
What benefits have you found to being a small business?
Being a small business has helped me focus and pinpoint areas of my weakness and strengths. I’m able to deeply analyze and target areas that need to be corrected and turn those areas into wins and able to pivot into new areas of opportunities without the hassle of being too big to change. Interacting and speaking with my customers face to face helps me stay connected to the community and keeps me upfront in what works and may not work for growing the business and how I can further my creativity to keep my customers happy.
What's a recent success story or milestone you're proud of?
When I started out in 2022 I bootstrapped everything in my business to make sure that I would truly dedicate my love and passion but to also make sure I would not put myself in a financial pitfall. I started out by renting everything from vehicles to margarita machines just to get started and off the ground. Since my launch I have bought out all my equipment and property today and even bought out a competing business that had went under all within the first 2 years of being in business. Furthermore, I am excited about the new opportunities that have presented themselves to me in the last 6 months that I am excited to share with the public very shortly!
How can our Chamber members best support your small business?
The best way to support Brain Freeze is to follow my social media channels and to spread the word. Word of mouth is the most crucial component of growth for a business and that is the key avenue that I would love the most. Of course coming to a pop and getting a drink would be an added bonus:)
What would you like our Chamber members to know about your business which isn’t necessarily obvious?
I may be shy and reserved at first but when you crack open this shell you are in a heck of a surprise that you woke up! Lol
