Last Friday’s Workforce SynQ session provided a valuable opportunity for professionals to explore the importance of psychological safety in the workplace. Led by Dr. Thomas Ayres, a Doctoral Research Faculty member at the Center for Wellbeing at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, the event focused on how workplace environments shape employee wellbeing and performance.
Throughout the interactive session, participants reflected on real-world scenarios—both successful and challenging—during guided discussions. These conversations explored the key principles that contribute to creating a psychologically safe environment, where individuals feel supported, valued, and heard.
We are thankful to Dr. Ayres for his expertise and to all those who participated in making this event a success. We look forward to future opportunities to continue the conversation and work toward a more psychologically safe and inclusive workplace for everyone.
