Tell us a little about your business?
Good cultures don’t happen by chance, they happen with deliberate attention and action. All business leaders must intentionally cultivate the culture they desire with the right behaviors and actions for toxic cultures to change and good cultures to stick. When cultivated successfully, thriving cultures show up as improved employee retention and performance, improved customer satisfaction, and improved business results.
CultureQI is the Culture and Talent Activation company. We provide ready-to-activate talent management programs that help your company build and foster a high-performance culture. CultureQI’s talent systems lay the behavioral and structural infrastructure required for your most important investment, your talent, to deliver their best work while contributing to your growing, thriving place of work.
What benefits have you found to being a small business?
Although I come from an entrepreneurial family (my father and brother were both small business owners), I shied away from starting my own venture for many years because I didn’t believe I could be a founder and a working mom. After retiring from corporate, my innovation fire and entrepreneurial spirit were too big to put out. Besides being able to scratch those itches every day, I love the independence and dare I say “balance” I’ve found building CultureQI while managing my family life. I work every day to effectively integrate my work-life and make intentional decisions about where I spend my time and energy. It has meant some business activities take longer when prioritizing my family, but it’s been a critical behavior to put into practice as I build CultureQI for steady and sustained business growth.
What's a recent success story or milestone you're proud of?
Co-host Meena Patel and I launched our podcast Enlightened Work in February with the goal of creating an uprising of enlightened leaders and influential humans who lead positive change in their workplaces, communities and world. The podcast is based on the premise that leadership is not limited to title or hierarchy; all humans have the capacity and opportunity to influence others in their daily interactions. You can find our premier episode "Join the Uprising" on Spotify or YouTube (coming soon to Apple). I hope you will listen, subscribe and share with your colleagues and friends.

How can our Chamber members best support your small business?
CultureQI spent 2024 developing the business, establishing advisors, partners and collaborators, and designing and piloting our product lines. This year we are excited to launch our talent solutions across several industry verticals including our new culture activation program for management teams.
