What an incredible weekend! KC PrideFest 2025 was a joyful, powerful celebration of love, identity, and community—and the Mid-America LGBT Chamber was proud to be a part of it.
First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest thanks to the organizers of this year’s PrideFest. It takes immense time, energy, and passion to bring an event of this scale to life, and the result was nothing short of amazing.
We’re also filled with gratitude for the many people who made our Chamber’s presence at PrideFest possible. To our dedicated Board of Directors, our amazing Chamber Ambassadors — especially Kira Johnston-Owens, Brandon Chamberlain, Jessica Mumma, and Rachelle Walker —, and the generous volunteers who gave their time and talents throughout the weekend—thank you. Whether you helped set up our booth, greeted visitors, shared resources, or simply showed up to represent the Chamber, your efforts made all the difference.
The energy and engagement throughout the festival were a powerful reminder of the importance of visibility, connection, and support within our LGBTQ+ and allied business community. PrideFest continues to be a valuable opportunity for the Chamber to connect with members, share resources, and further our mission of economic empowerment and inclusion.
