Our November Emerge: A Program for Young Professionals was one to remember! We gathered at Overland Park CBD American Shaman for an evening of learning, conversation, and connection. Guests were welcomed with a beautiful charcuterie spread, festive drinks, and time to network before the program began.
To kick things off, attendees took part in a fun “grateful pumpkin” activity, writing down what they were thankful for on small pumpkins. It was a lighthearted way to get everyone talking and thinking about gratitude heading into the holiday season.
The main event featured Tim Wikstrom, founder of Thread, who led an engaging presentation on The Power of Connection: Mastering Your Presence and the Art of Networking. Tim shared helpful tips on showing up with confidence, making authentic connections, and building meaningful relationships that last.
Everyone left with practical strategies to prepare for networking events, start conversations with ease, and follow up in a way that builds real connections.
Curious about what’s next? The EMERGE series is created by and for emerging professionals in the Chamber community. Join us for upcoming sessions and connect with peers who share your drive to make a difference. Learn more and get involved.
